Greetings!

I’m based out of St. Louis, MO. I’m an amateur photographer who mainly takes pictures of birds & wildlife, sunsets/sunrises, and the Milky Way. I also have some experience taking portraits and got some nice shots of the April 2024 total solar eclipse. 

I purchased a Canon R6ii in July 2023 and started learning more about how to take photos and use that camera. I have watched many video guides on photography and photo editing. I found photo processing particularly challenging.

Along the way, I have admired the work of: Simon D’Entremont, Jan Wegener, Thomas Heaton, Jared Polin (FroKnowsPhoto), and Mark Denney. They all have excellent videos on photography and photo processing…check out their work!

In Aug 2024, I purchased a Canon R5ii. I am really enjoying the boost in megapixels (45 MP sensor) to allow further cropping of my wildlife images and the pre-capture feature on the R5ii.

I enjoy photography trips around the St. Louis area, and would welcome the opportunity to connect with others who share similar interests.
